
Arcadia Lake Trail Coalition
The Edmond Land Conservancy partnered with the Arcadia Lake Trail Coalition to support the development of a multi use trail around Arcadia Lake. The approximately 18.8 mile trail was designed to provide safe recreational opportunities for walkers, runners, and cyclists while showcasing the area's natural beauty.

Chitwood Farm Hay Meadow
The Chitwood Family, Turner & Company, the USDA, Land Legacy and The Edmond Land Conservancy worked together to permanently preserve an East Edmond meadow complete with buffalo wallows. The conservation easement covering this scenic and historic meadow was purchased, in part, with funding from the USDA Farm and Ranchlands Protection Program, only the second such grant ever awarded in Oklahoma.

Charles D. Lamb Nature Preserve
In 2021 Edmond voters approved the establishment of a temporary one-year sales tax increase to facilitate the City of Edmond’s acquisition of approximately 22 acres of undeveloped land situated immediately south of Hafer Park. In early 2022 the Edmond City Council passed a resolution to partner with the ELC in developing a plan for managing the property for generations to come as a minimally developed “nature first park”, and coordinate encumbering this property with a conservation easement.
